(20 weeks pregnant with twins)
20 weeks pregnant and getting uncomfortable. I can still sleep okay, but I can not, I repeat, cannot bend down to pick things up very easily. I had my 20 week ultrasound today, I am just two days shy of being 21 weeks, so I though I better post this picture today. The ultrasound went great. Both boys were doing so great and baby B was very active. He did two flips while we were watching him. It was so wonderful to see them again.
My pregnancy is going great, I am just having lots and lots of Braxton Hick's contractions already. My doctors said this is super normal with twins, since I am measuring 27 weeks now, which is close to 7 months, I would be getting the symptoms most women start to experience around the 7 month mark. My baby boys are already up in my rib cage now and head down so their little feet like to jab at my ribs, it's awesome.
We moved this last week, hence why I missed a picture of my 19 week belly. Things were hectic. We had lived in our Provo home for almost 4 years, so we had accrued a lot of stuff. But we got moved in and that was when I experienced some pretty intense Braxton Hick's contractions. I got pretty scared, and called my sister (the doctor.:)) and she said if they got more intense to go to the ER. They settled down pretty quickly, but I was wary of something being wrong. The next day was my doctor's appointment and he told me everything was fine. Until he told me, I had no idea that Braxton Hick's contractions were perfectly normal and that it meant little to nothing when you have them. I didn't even know you have them when you are not pregnant!!! Go figure! Needless to say I was much relieved and much more ready to take on this pregnancy. Now when I get them I know I just need to take it easy, or I will start to worry myself too much.
So things are great, the boys are healthy and strong and I am sitting pretty at a 15 pound weight gain. I hope that I can stay healthy and fit, as my Maternal Perinatal doc told me to be extra careful with my weight also. I guess gestational diabetes is really common in multiples pregnancy's hence the strong warnings and urges from my OB to stay at a healthy weight. I think I am doing pretty good so far:)
Here are a couple pics of the babies, just profile shots. I will post more from the ultrasound tomorrow:)

You look great Heather! Glad the move went well and that you're feeling good!
What a wonderful birthday present to see these little guys up close! Thank you for the beautiful pictures. You look like you could model for a maternity magazine cover. I am so proud of you.
I agree with Grandma Hansen. :) You are beautiful, Heather! That's crazy you've been having Braxton Hicks already, no fun. How exciting to have a new place. I can't wait to see it! Keep hanging in there, you are amazing.
